I paid a little extra this year to sit in the "Photo Pit" for the Wings Over Houston air show, and I'm glad I did. I don't recall the exact number of shots I took, but I filled up three 1 GB memory cards. I rented a 300-mm image-stabilized telephoto lens, and I think that made all the difference.
